A me finora è successo due volte, contando questo spostamento verso The Growling Breakfast.
Con affetto, Patrizia English Version Moving it’s not that easy, I think everybody knows it. To me it has occurred 2 times, counting this relocation towards The Growling Breakfast. The first time I was 10, and I don’t remember that period very clearly, except for the moment I laid on the rough floor and stared to the ceiling of my new bedroom still in progress. My heart was beating in my chest like the heart of a lively bird. For this blog the method was almost the same. I laid two times with the nose up to the ceiling: the first time, in my Bread&Breakfast. The heart was beating slowly, my breath was controlled. I couldn’t find myself in it anymore. Too much ads, a lot of limits, my words were stopped at the end of that page, in a tiny standard; I had stopped myself for the 10th time, maybe because of my long to-do list. And then I laid one more time, open minded, free, light heart, watching what I was going to do with the new “place” I was creating. Doreen Massey, sociologically speaking, expressed what I was feeling: “The space’s a doubt: I have constantly to individuate it, design it. It’s never mine, it has been given to me, I have to conquer it”. Bread&Breakfast, to briefly explain, had been mine but it was mine no more. Well, it’s still mine, technically, but it will last there only to converge people in this direction, to this page. I like this new site very much. I am building it step by step, and I beg you, don’t be afraid if you’ll see changes in this first month. Hem, if you have followed me here I may suppose that you’ve accepted the relocation. And I have to say thank you. This time my heart is airy, serene. This room, with so many doors to open and create, makes me happy. I know I can color it with the things I truly want, and I know I can take care of it as you can do the same for a tiny hobbit in his first steps. I’d like to take care of you, too. In your everyday steps. In your daily routine, giving you words to read and becoming a transnational place. Some kind of station – a Growling station, obviously. This is all I have to say for now. I’ve a lot more to say (romantic I am!) but I need to stop here. There’s so much time to spend together. And there’s so much space to share recipes and nice things with you. I’m waiting for you to come here in the next days. I have to do my best wishes for a nice 2015, to all of you. (And I have to restart again with my Englishness, hehe!) Much love, Patrizia
